A Different Kind Of Kingston Trio T-Shirt

New! Our friends at Happy Space designed this far out t-shirt for us. The design is really cool and actually has many complex facets to it. We love it! The color is called Texas Brick and it's a pre-shrunk 100% cotton tee.

The design has the Kingston Trio name, little Kingston Trio musicians and other really neat stuff surrounding the silhouette of the guitar. This one is our favorite t-shirt so far. The bottom image shows the back of the tee. It's an upside-down guitar with the Kingston Trio on top and The Kingston Trio wrtten in the body. A completely different look for us. The Hawaiian Calyspso Folk Group That Saved Country Music T-Shirt

Bob Shane told a story onstage for years, about the night the KT received the first grammy ever given for Best Country & Western Performance. According to Bob, Minnie Pearl came up after the presentation and said, "Thank goodness for the acceptance of the song "Tom Dooley." Country music has been slow in sales for a long time and it's now picking up."

Couple that with the fact that Nick, Bob and Dave started the Kingston Trio singing Hawaiian and Calypso music and Capitol Records called them folk singers, Bob Shane always said the group should have been called "The Hawaiian Calypso Folk Group That Saved Country Music."

We wanted to capture that in a completely upbeat, far out t-shirt design and we think we did just that. Bob's famed saying is written in colorful graphics on the front, interspersed with a banjo and 2 guitars, and The Kingston Trio is on the sleeve. Very cool.

This is the best polo shirt we've ever had! It's even called the "Men's Perfect Pima Polo." The color is dill, and it is 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton, with a 3-button placket, Dura-pearl ™ buttons and tipping on the color and cuffs. Other features are stretch tape on the shoulders for extra strength, split tail and side vents.The Kingston Trio logo is on the left chest, with 'The Kingston Trio' embroidered under it.
